Social Media Marketing For WAWA Conservation

During my role as a social media volunteer and author for WAWA Conservation—an NGO working towards protecting lesser-known endangered species—I helped the organisation with their social media marketing to raise awareness for the organisation and its cause, and drive donations.

Social Media

I crafted and shared over 15 impactful Facebook posts, using compelling visuals and informative content to raise awareness about the endangered species and the organisation's mission. These generated significant engagement—over 280 likes, 25 comments, and 20 shares—and played a crucial role in influencing individuals to support the cause.

Article Writing

To garner support for WAWA's conservation efforts, I wrote an in-depth article about the endangered Long-beaked echidna, highlighting the threats it faces and the urgent need for conservation action. This article was featured both on WAWA’s website and in their newsletter, aiming to educate readers about the species’ critical status and inspire them to take action. By providing compelling storytelling and insightful information, I sought to create an emotional connection with the audience, encouraging them to contribute to WAWA’s mission through donations and spreading awareness.
